What is bounce Rate ?
Bounce Rate is most important factor for any website owner. Bounce rate basically tells you the percentage of your visitor gone away after landing on your page. ex: they just visit only one page of your website and gone away without going to second page. A bounce rate can be occurred by several reasons-
1. visitor hit back button of his browser
2. the visitor closed his browser
3.the visitor clicks on of your ads
4. visitor clicks on external links of your website and gone away
5.visitor entered a new website
All the above action would cause the visitor to leave your website. if he did any action after arriving at your website it will counted as bounce rate. formula of finding bounce rate on your website is -
Bounce Rate= visits that left after one page / total no of visits
some tips that you can use for decreasing your bounce rate-
1- Poor Navigation-
if your website have poor navigation your visitor cant able to understand it how can they reach to their destination they simple shut down your site. how to make good navigation bar -
1. make your navigation bar simple and easily understandable
2. make you navigation bar keep in mind your visitor able to reach at their destination between 2 or 3 click
3. use user friendly colors at the time of making your navigation bar
4. use breadcrumbs
5.use dynamic navigation etc.
2- look n feel or layout of your website
make your website layout user friendly show user can easily able to understand it or easily navigate through. check for broken links, content layout, spelling and grammar of your content. try to make your website look professional not like scrap website.
3- product price is too high
if you are selling a product on your website and price of your product is too high then just try to make it less than your competitors. if you cant make it less then provide some other value product with your product to make your product price higher. or you can do little experiment just don’t mention your product price on your landing page.
4-poorly targeted keywords
it takes too much time to choose right keyword and then write and rank for that keywords. the chance of you get right keywords in first attempt is very slim. do analysis on your keywords and which have poor performance try to modify it.
5- insufficient product information

Even the very comprehensive and well priced product can perform poorly if the all information about product is hidden and user can not able to see it. so make small presentation on your product and upload it on your sells page.

Be careful at the time of putting links on your page because your are providing a option to move your visitor to another site . if you want to put links in your page then make sure they open in new tab.
8- Page Performance
