Facebook Now Allows You To Take Your Data With You

“People own and have control over all info they put into Facebook and “Download Your Information” enables people to take stuff with them,” says Zuckerberg.?

This feature will be really useful since it will allow you to download your data and back it up or have a copy of it before you decide to deactivate or delete your Facebook account.
Let me know you how to download your data/information from your account:
1. Go to: Facebook.com
2. Login with your Email Address and Password.
3. Go to Account Tab, Get your mouse on Account Settingand click on it.
Now, check out for the “Download Your Information”. On this page, click the “learn more” link next to this feature.
5. On the next page, click on the Download Button to start the download process. Facebook will then queue the download and send you an email when the data has been archived for download.
6. Now, go to your Email Account from which you are register with Facebook.
7. Once you receive an email from Facebook, you will have to Verify Your Password and/or your security information before you can download the file.
8. The data will be contained within a Zip File which can be unzipped to a folder to access your Facebook data.
9. That’s it, with one click you can now liberate your data from Facebook and store it with you.

Any guesses? What’s in that zip file?

Aha, might be you’re right but let me tell you:
1. Profile Information
2. List of your Friends
3. View of your Wall
4. Your Photos Albums
5. Your Videos
6. Notes, that you Created
7. Events which you have RSVP-ed ‘Yes’
8. Inbox Messages.

But, Why Facebook is offering this feature?

Here’s the answer:
1. Copy of your information what you have shared.
2. To give people a powerful way to control how they share information and have social experiences all over the web.
3. User can have their details whatever they have shared on facebook.
4. If you want to deactivate/delete your Facebook account then before doing this you can easily get the details of your experience with FACEBOOK. (Might Be You Come Back To FB. )
Downloading your profile in this way does not delete it from the site, but simply provides you with a copy. Users wishing to erase their data entirely will have to go through the process of deleting their entire Facebook profile, separately from “Download Your Information.”
Note that, this feature is not activated to everyone but it should gradually roll out to all users in upcoming days.....
